the guy have show me how to sms in chinese text..but now i try...and forget the step..

can gachi or anyone show me the step for omnia II,

i recall a button to press n hold to change the font to chinese.....read the "bible" nothing mention.

i completly love my omnia but i olny have one prob the low bwttery beep will go of even when i have it on silent.it can be a nuisence during class and i need help fixing it im afraid of threads becuse i dont want to screw up my phone i love it way to much any ideas?

It’s a must have for everybody i think.. because it is very stable, useful and fast.
I dont use any skin because so far i have tested HTC Diamond and Windows7 skins. But its not working on my Omnia.

Another iphone clone software.. Windows mobile can be anything that u want..Hehe.. So far this is the best Iphone home screen for windows mobile. It has a lot of customization that u can choose. How about Winterface? Hmm..i dunno..because i got a problem when use winterface. My Omnia screen will blank and cannot turn on.

Again, another iphone clone type. What i like about this keyboard is i feel more accurate when typing. When you press the button, there will be a popup letter that u press and also beep sound. Compare to Samsung keyboard, u will feel like nothing when u press the button. But hey, they should provide another symbol like = and \.

Those who are having battery problem on H3 firmware, is highly recommended to upgrade to i900DXHI1 Firmware. Mine can last almost 3 days with normal usage..

Settings The preview of Theme does not display when selecting the image bigger than 3M.
WIFI If ‘Browser Connection’ set not to ‘internet’,
Browser try to connect via GPRS even if WIFI connection is established
RIL Occurrence Process : Insert Airtel SIM card and power ON the handset.

TV_OUT Repro Steps:
1. Connect the TV Cable
2. Receive a phone call
3. Start -> Program -> execute any program
3. Disconnect the TV Cable
Problem
When TV cable is connected, a warning window pops up.
Without closing that popup, execute any program.
Unplug the TV cable, and touch screen will act abnormally.
WLAN 1. We changed to be passed even if mc address is wrong..
2. We fixed data abort problem that it occurs when grandprix is booting.
3. We fixed power save mode setting when WiFi driver is receiving data..
4. We fixed “unbinding problem” when phone chnges IP setting way from DHCP to Static IP Setting. repeatedly.

Widget Occurrence Process : Create a contact with long name and assign Caller image to it. Recive a call. Disconnct the call from MO side.

Lately i’ve no time to post any news about Omnia..Actually i have nothing to post and pretty busy with my new job..

But if u talk about Omnia firmware then it will be never ending story. As u all know, there are SO MANY FIRMWARE VERSION had officialy/non officially released by Samsung. Since the launched on July in Singapore then follow with other countries, i can say at least more than 10 version had been released. From G1, G3, G4, G5, H1, H3, I1, I2, I3, bla…bla…bla….The weird thing is if u go to the website the latest one is still H3 version, which is known as a BATTERY KILLER..I strongly advise do not upgrade ur Omnia to this version. If not u will regret..haha…

SO back to the topic, i will use this post to update if there is any new firmware released from Samsung.

Please bear in my mind, this is not consider as an official firmware from Samsung. As i know they may purposely leaked the firmware to the users. To let the user to test first and become their victim..Haha..Don’t worry it should be ok..Although it’s not official but i believe every new firmware should fixed some bugs based on the previous firmware..

I've seen a lot of people asking how they can boost their volume of their headsets or when watching a movie through the loud speaker (its very low). Even ringtones are effected by this. So I thought I better finally register and post my findings for other I900 owners.

Its quite simple and does not require a hard rest.

In the phone keypad type: *#0002*28346#

You will then have a screen pop up called audio control util.

How to change the loudspeaker volume for ringtones, movies, mp3s etc

Click menu, normal then handset (the first one, Phones headset/loudspeaker) Here you can change:

Speaker volume: SPK(02) -db is less volume, I have set this to -1.5db (level)
Digital-to-analog: DAC(0C) This effects the overall volume of Mp3s, movies etc -both headset and loud speaker. I have set this to 0db.
Radio Volume: RVOL

How to change the headset / earphones volume.

Click menu, normal then headset (the second one, Headphones) Here you can change:

Headphones volume: HP(02) -db is less volume +db is more volume, I have set this to 0db (level)
Digital-to-analog: DAC(0C) This effects the overall volume of Mp3s, movies etc. I have set this to 0db.
Radio Volume: RVOL

*You must click menu / apply for changes to take effect,
*I recommend play a Mp3 launch the app, then apply the changes and set your prefered max volume.
*Setting high levels could damage the loud speaker or your headphones, not to mention your hearing!.

So there you have it, you can have headphones louder than an iphone or ipod if you wish. I don't recommend touching other settings unless you know what your doing or have copied the defaults so you can revert back incase you srew something up!

Before the launch of iphone, I aimed at Samsung Omnia and HTC. The reports seem favours Samsung.

Samsung using Window operation mode. It reminds me of works.So i didnt get it even the offre price is 389 before I trade it my phone and even they have superb delivery service.
