@iketube, @gachimuchi: without using photobucket, can I directly insert a photo from my iPhone album?

I believe it is still possible using the BBCode Mode.

I think it's not possible even if the photo is 'uploaded' to iCloud. You still have to upload the photo somewhere else publicly online.

1. Try this alternative of Dropbox which is less sticky on naughty pictures.

I got from www.minecraftforum.net/topic/742760-forumsposting-pictures-quickly-by-using-public-links-in-dropbox/

2. Suggest you create a private account instead of your main dropbox account.

Secondly, instead of downloading the dropbox app, just use the drop-box "web-based" screens to upload and share images.

Cheers !

Hi,

The editor option does not work for mobile or tablet screen. You can post pictures via the [ IMG ] tag.

Follow this format without the spaces inside the square brackets

Note that only jpeg, jpg, PNG and gif extension is allowed for images.

Guess, this is just a test?

If that is so, perhaps, post it in Test Forum the next time.

After some trial and error I suspect the code parser is fussy about punctuation characters in filenames...

So for those whose image links are 'broken' it could be a problem with the filename. I guess it's always safest to avoid spaces and non-alphanumeric characters.

Image hosting sites will correct your filename and remove or replace spaces/bad characters.

Most peeps here are facing issues posting images because:

1. They're not manually coding their URL.

2. They're on the mobile version that does not have the reply post editor.

3. They're directly posting the image URL, but BW doesn't auto-parse image links, only videos (youtube, vimeo).

So, like what Bern has mentioned, the best way to is learn basic BBcodes.
