Actually we know the cause.We're doing some experimentation to push the performance of our BW database further.What we're tuning could potentially improve the speed/capacity by some 10-20%. We need this headroom to grow as we're getting increase readership and database size too.3. BUT I did NOT do enough testing We run some house-keeping programmes.Unfortunately the above tuning and some of our house-keeping tasks were both glutton for Computer Memory.Our hardware and the database choked. It resulted in a corrupted database.4. I believe we have found and worked a solution to bypass the problem.So we will be Testing AGAIN tonight.Hopefully I would not have a mess again tomorrow morning.5. We're doing all these to squeeze whatever performance from our limited budget hardware. When you're poor, you just have to innovate. Our Apologies to have to let members to suffer.Cheers !
