We will be upgrading our hosting site with new hardware on Friday, 21 December 2012, 3:30PM SGT. (So you guys can enjoy a snappier response if the world doesn't end. )2. BW will be UNAVAILABLE for approx 2.5 hours.Phase 2Over the next several weeks we will be upgrading the forum software to the latest version that was just released in Dec 2012.More details will be released in due course.Details3. With our readership steadily growing and demand brought from the new chat... YES, we have also noticed a poorer performing site.a. As we are already squeezing every juice out of our very optimized host in recent years, we have been planning for an upgrade for quite some time.b. We have been scouting several hosting sites based in the US and evaluated them. What we were looking for was a site to serve our current needs as well as having room for growth as our community doubles almost yearly.What do I need to know about the upgradeThe upgrade will take place on Friday, 21/12/2012, 3:30PM - 5:00PM SGT.To facilitate the migration of our database and forum, you will not be able to access the forum temporarily.The entire process will be transparent, no action is required from the readers during the upgrade.We will update our FB and Twitter .....4. To fund the operating cost, the only source of $$ comes from the banner advertisement. We currently have open banner slots from $200/month. To advertise with us, please PM our mod OralB. Lastly, BW has always been non-commerical and free, and will continue to be so.
