HendryTan Posted December 27, 2013 Report Share Posted December 27, 2013 1. Apologies that the Blowingwind forum went offline from 7:06 am - 11:31 am today 27 Dec 2013.2. Reason: There was a "Surge" in network traffic at that hour and the hosting site thought it was some network problem on our site. As a precaution they "Black-hole" (null route in network parlance) all the network traffic going to BlowingWind.3. After our intervention, they have restored our network services.4. We will be working with the host site to see what triggered such an incident.As much as we appreciate their pre-emptive monitoring, but we also want to ensure it does not lead to long down time too.5.
