Ang Moh tend to enjoy tanning because they don't get as much sun where they live. It also makes them feel happier having exposed to sunlight.

This is my personal explanation.

 

i agree with what u wrote on your caption, but i love the heat sensation of the sun on my body, feels very shoik.

and i also have fetish for tanned complextion chinese guys. My idol is "Louis Koo" btw.

as i don't really love myself very much, as in i have no self confidence (low self esteem) and i am also not a very happy person.

so suntanning makes me happy.

When i looked at the mirror, i looked at my ugly face, i will feel sad.

when i looked at my skinny physique, i will feel sad,

but, when i looked at my tanned complexion, i will very very happy.

"own self happy can liao".

many of my besties asked me to stopped tanning as i have already overdone it, most of my friends have already started using SK-II Men to slow down the aging process or apply sunblock when go out, but i am doing the opposite, make myself age faster.

but as long i am happy, i am "song", i don't bother with others say.

See the models and see how many are fair or tan?

I do see/know more tan sporty/muscular Japanese guys than fair jap tho.

However I do agree that too much Sun is bad for skin. Some skins do not respond well to the Sun. Easily get frackles.

I used to tan a lot, esp under the hot aftrnoon sun for at least an hour few times a week, but with facial sunblock, lip protection balm and body tanning oil of course.

Nowadays I cut down a lot because I am beginning to see the aging effect on my skin.

But guys, pls bear in mind that whatever damage you have caused to your skin before, eg. gotten sun burn when you were young, the damaging effect is irreversible like what one of the poster has commented.

But I would still tan moderately just to prevent myself from looking too fair. In fact, I used to be very fair by staying away from the sun. But since I find guys who are tanned more attractive, their tan skin gives people the impression of being sporty, so I tan myself to look "sporty" like them too.

@Desmadonna, start excercising or hitting the gym as advised by the Guest quoted. You may feel awkward at first because of your low self esteem, and seeing others who are more handsome and well built, but gradually you will realise that keeping fit can actually help a person to build his self confidence and self esteem. I believe that if you can strip yourself to just a swimming gear and tan in public pools, your self confidence and self esteem shouldnt be that low right?

Maybe you can start by swimming laps first before or after your tan to add some "paddings" to your thin body. All the best!

If ur bod is toned n muscular, no matter ur skin is fair or tanned also looks hot lah. If ur bod is skinny, anything also dun looks gd n hot.

Anyway, i find if a guy is tanned skin, he looks extremely hot when he was sweaty. If u guys notice those guys who are running topless, if his bod is tanned, it makes his toned bod much more attractive than fair skin.

To me, he is a 10++. He is already very masculine but his soft baby smooth fair skin enhances his sexiness. It does not take anything away from his masculinity.
