Reason: Outlook/Hotmail/Msn/live.com (ie the Microsoft Mails) is throttling emails sent from BW. 3. BW had a new IP address. BW sends several thousand emails to Microsoft servers daily. A significant number of these emails bounced. eg Some members may have already deleted/fallow their old Hotmail emails account eg Their email inbox had quota problem. The above fitted Microsoft's pattern of unsolicited spams. So they started throttling emails from BW. 4. To rectify the above, we have analysed all the bounced emails. For emails that bounced, we have corresponding adjusted email notification in these members' accounts. ie NOT to send out email notifications anymore. 5. For members who uses Microsoft Mails and have too many notifications, we have also reduced some of your email notifications. 6. Members who suddenly missed their email notifications and you want it back, you can: - check and reset your email notification settings at http://www.blowingwind.org/forum/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications . - Perhaps change their notification setting to daily / weekly digest instead of immediate. - Verify that that your email account with Microsoft/Yahoo is still active by login there. 7. I also like to state that BlowingWind do NOT send UN-SOLICITED EMAILS to members. We do NOT use member emails for any commercial purpose.
