This forum was started in the 1990s before moving to our current domain in 2005 with a paid ISP in the USA. Along the way, the core moderation team has remained largely unchanged. As our forum membership and viewership grew, our task volume were getting more challenging, and we recognized the need for succession planning.3. This is why we started looking for potential moderators from the current generation to help us with our daily moderation and many other unseen day to day backroom work. Early last year, we posted a search to look for young bloods who can help us with the day-to-day moderation of this forum.4. It wasn't easy to find suitable candidates who are willing to invest their time, have the right personality and attitude and yet willing to work for FREE. They also need to have the approval of all BW moderators. After several rounds of interviews, we have decided that Glyph and Amplify would be a right fit. I fondly remember it being only 3 years ago when I joined BW myself. 5. To all the moderators, please continue all your good work.Especially (you know who, lah) for weeding out unpleasant characters.I know those "newbies" won't last as their remarks are often "too caustic" or "off-centred".So once again, I look forward to many good years of BW.
