We'd like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support even though many of you were unable to attend the event due to other commitments. For those who missed our BW sharing or would like to see it again, the mods have put together a 10 Years In Review for the anniversary - http://www.blowingwind.org/bw10/We'd also greatly appreciate any feedback for a better experience in future (possible) anniversary gatherings from those who were with us today.Once again, thank you for your support! Popular Post G_M
Even before we opened for registration, there were already early birds who arrives early for the event. The goody bag which we had packed just hours before, with more than $100+ worth of goodies from $40 HIV testing coupon from AFA and the 1 day free entry for Cruise Club sauna was already well worth the $28 ticket price. The content of the goodies are listed in here. Today's event was the most happening. As it turns out we are seeing a mixture of young and old from all walks of life, from cuties to hunks to handsome uncles, Ahem, we have it all. While mostly are locals, there were also a few foreigners, all coming to celebrate BW's 10th Anniversary. The party started with cautionary note that there will not be any photo taking or spy cam while the party is in progress. Anyone caught will be royally fucked. Since it was mentioned that it's a Black and White theme party, anyone found not in Black or White outfit will have to remove their outfit regardless if it is shirt, pants or underwear. I am sure it would be an eye opener for those to have their outfit removed. After the opening short speech, we proceed to show a video of "The Story of Blowing Wind Forum" where it showed what BW had gone through over the last 10 years. Next we introduced the 2 new mods, Glyph and Amplify. It was the icebreaker game of Human Bingo which really gets everyone's ass off their seats. Of course, if anyone is caught not playing the games, they will be penalised and have to do a forfeit. Eventually,3 winners got away with moskato wine. Then it was followed by some snacks and while everyone is tucking in into their food, I had no choice by to sing a Mandarin song with my croaky voice. Luckily, I have the power to arrow another person to sing another Mandarin song and the ball started rolling when another member came up to belt another classic Mandarin Song. Unfortunately, no others came forward to sing any English song. After all the food and songs, its time for some serious sharing. Bern shared with members about BW's new look for web as well as for mobile. After which, it was followed by a talk by Avin from AFA followed Yang Fa from Oogachaga. I also shared with the members the voices of the mods, past members and present members about how BW had been part of their lives over the last 10 years. Before the party gets too dry, it's time for another game and this time round, I had great fun with the hunks by having them show off their 6 packs. And in the end, it was table 3 and 4 that got prizes from Male-HQ and from one of our helper, Happypup. After the game, it's time for the lucky draw. Many members walked away with many prizes from Boyzilian waxing, Cruise Club 3 day passes , Super Slyder lube, Male-HQ underwear, Moscato wine, and the top prize of 2-day-1 nite staycation. One of the member got a shock of his life when he won a Party pack from Oogachaga and everyone had a great laugh when we showed them what the party pack was about, All in all, it was a fun event where there is a bit of everything and all thanks to the hardworking helper and mods as well the the generosity of the sponsors, and partner to help make BW 10th Anniversary a success. I wonder how are we going to top this event next year? joshTWjosh, Boi1230, riverrobles and 6 others 9 http://www.facebook.com/gachimuchi

Guest Guest
It was a warm environment and gathering. i was very shy and uncomfortable at first but i was ok after some warm up however there were still very introvert ppl around which i went to approach them to see what they need during the game,i think because of the longular nature of the venue that there wasnt too much of interactions between the attendees between the far ends as some people are just hiding at a corner and didnt get much attention. it would be ideal if the attendees are closer to each other
G_M
True, but then again, not everyone is sporty. Some just wants to watch. Still I did try to get people moving. Guest Guest
I am amongst those who are just shy and socially awkward, can't be helped.if i can rem you, ya you do look like those very shy people which is so unlike your profile pict i would love to have more time to interact and talk to other people, shy or not shy but i think we are a little bit restricted by the program as well as the venue. im not sure but i would love if it was like those fashion events were people get to mingle around or something like at least we can know ur name and what is ur ID here so at least there is some connection somehow within the forum itself i know some are shy and some want to keep low profile because they are closeted but look, who would go around telling people, i see so and so at some event
G_M
In an environment like this, if you can muster enough courage to just say, "Hi, I am so and so", I am sure things would turn out differently. The problem is not what others can do to get you out of your shell, but what you MUST DO to get yourself out of YOUR shell. You are already in a party and there are ice breaker games played, you have only yourself to blame for not seizing the opportunities. The organizers can only do so much in such a short time. The rest, as they say, its all up to you. No amount of how big or restricted the venue is going to help if your ass stayed glued to your chair and your mouth stays shut. http://www.facebook.com/gachimuchi

homSPA
Thanks for the hard work guys for putting on the event together. This is my second time meeting people in this circle, the first being the recent pinkdot. Hopefully, more people can contribute in the coming events. When GM asked about sharing, I was actually very moved. All these years I had been living like a hermit, and that's because I had a divine encounter, and I'm supposed to get married to a lady and live another life as I'm living now. Until recently, it just dawned on me that is not going to happen, and I felt like a free man ready to embrace my new life.I would like to share more, but I guess it's not the platform for this. If you are interested to know about my spiritual journey you may contact me directly. The following link contains my current state of mind regards how how I reconcile the christian faith with being gay. The content is addressed to Christains, if that offends you, may I suggest that you skip. Cheers!https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10155820903125370&id=109353655369I think after the event closed those who stayed get to mingle around and know people. Everyone should try. But that said, do be mindful of religious post in our forum. Thanks for attending and I hoped you enjoyed yourself. Happypup
It was great meeting fellow blowingwind members at the party! I was extremely touched when Yang Fa (OC) spoke about us taking care of one another. And that is truly the spirit of our community. Hope you guys enjoyed yourselves as much as I did. I understand the sensitivity of religion as such I only talk about it in closed group for those who are interested to understand more. As of today, although I am familiar with the Bible, I no longer consider myself a Christian, because in this spiritual journey I found truth in every religion, and I also found shortcomings. I will start a thread as you suggested. I just need to get familiarized with the forum, before doing that so that I don't get banned. G_M
Yes, I even asked openly if anyone finds anyone cute they would like to know, can approach the helpers and mods to help introduce. The problem here is, if you have someone you like, OPEN your mouth and ask. Nothing is going to happen if you only think in your head. Then later regret that you missed the chance. http://www.facebook.com/gachimuchi

amplify
I noticed there are people who want to know somebody present during the event but were too shy or missed the opportunity. There is nothing much the moderators can do after the event is over. We are certainly not allowed to divulge personal information. The good news is that you can still have your last attempt to try and reach out to the person via our Singapore Gay Missed Connection thread which can be found at:http://www.blowingwind.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=17506 Please do not post in this thread as this is strictly meant for collating feedback. :-)
