Singapore: Hotel Rate

Hotel rooms in Singapore... Good and cheap ones... Hmm...

You can try the following site for information: http://hotels.online.com.sg/hotels-bet121and180.asp

It might be better to actually book the hotel room in person and not via the net... but some might find it cheaper booking off the net... You can also check the other ranges as sometimes the rates might be cheaper than posted...

You can try: Peninsular-Excelsior (Good location and nice view), Hotel Grand Central (A lot of Koreans), Concorde, Allson, Furama (near Chinatown) etc...

Or if your parents dun mind... Hotel 81 at Chinatown looks less sleazy than a lot of its other branches...

Do you have friends in hotels? Sometimes they have lobang for good rates.

Problem is that Singapore has almost 100% occupancy rates these days.. dun know where all these visitors are coming from.

For websites, also check the following:

http://www.agoda.com

http://www.wotif.com - Good for last minute deals.

Thank you for all the suggestion, and sorry for not post in detail.

I'm asking for the rate in Singapore hotels as my parents will visit me in coming holiday. I can't let them stay in my place as it will be to crowded. Noy so nice to my landlord too. So, I try to check on the rate first to plan ahead.

Feel like wind, roaming free.

Well, if you guys are not very particular in having good facilities and need to watch the budget, you may wish to consider Robertson Quay Hotel in Clarke Quay area. The room rate now is S$110++ per room per night for 2.

You can view the details and book online at:

http://www.robertsonquayhotel.com.sg/rates.htm

Or if you are staying at the weekend, you may wish to consider Amara Hotel near Tanjang Pagar area. The hotel rate is S$140++ per room per night and it is pretty nice as I have booked for a friend who has stayed there lately. Do note that the rates is applicable to Singaporeans only and if you are not one, you may need a Singapore friend to book and check-in for you. More details are available here:

http://singapore.amarahotels.com/promo_sg_spl.htm

Hope this helps.

  • 1 year later...

Anybody can recommend reasonably priced accommodation in SIN for single occupancy (less than SGD100 per night) during CNY period in Jan 2009? All locations considered less geylang. Thanks in advance!
